In the Wednesday, April 15 episode, Javi confronts Leo (Greg Rikaart) regarding where their future is headed. However, fans are already getting ready to bid farewell to Javi as Calderon announced his exit recently. In July 2025, Deadline reported that Javi had been recast in the show.
Addressing the unexpected cast change, Days of Our Lives representative shared a statement saying, “We do not comment on the contract status of our actors, but fans should not worry, Javi is alive and well in Salem.” The report also confirmed that Calderon will continue to play Javi till May 2026. The actor recently took to his Instagram to officially announce his departure from the show. “My time on Days of Our Lives has been truly life-changing,” Calderon wrote in his IG Story.
He added, “I’m endlessly grateful to the cast, crew, and creatives who made me feel seen, valued, and part of a legacy of family. I’ll carry the love, lessons, and memories with me on every journey I go on.” Judi Evans as Bonnie Lockhart Kiriakis The second character to make an appearance on the show this week is Judi Evans’ Bonnie. According to spoilers, Bonnie will get more screen time on the Tuesday, April 14 episode of the show, when her book signing doesn’t go as planned.
Who’s Going: No major character is leaving the show this week. The week has already kicked off on the series with the Monday, April 13 episode, where Javi announced that he is back in Salem to stay.
