K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM have announced their second studio album PUREFLOW pt.1, which is scheduled for worldwide release on May 22 at 1 PM KST. The announcement was made through the global fan platform Weverse, with the lead single ‘CELEBRATION’ set to arrive earlier on April 24. According to the group’s agency Source Music, the album represents a new creative phase for the five-member act as they explore themes of growth, change and confronting fear from a fresh perspective.

A logo motion video released alongside the announcement offered the first glimpse of the project’s visual identity. The clip featured the phrase “FOR WE ARE NOT FEARLESS, AND THEREFORE POWERFUL” before transitioning into the title PUREFLOW, continuing the wordplay associated with the group’s name. The lead single ‘CELEBRATION’ has been described as an uplifting track that reflects the moment of discovering inner strength while navigating change.

The upcoming release follows the global momentum generated by their previous project SPAGHETTI. Its lead track “SPAGHETTI (feat. j-hope of BTS)” entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 50 and helped the group secure a Top 10 placement on the Billboard Global 200 chart. The group also delivered a year-end performance at Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026 in Times Square.

Since their debut in 2022, LE SSERAFIM, comprising Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha and Hong Eunchae, have continued expanding their global presence. They previously performed at major international platforms including Coachella and the MTV VMAs and EMAs, further strengthening anticipation around their next studio-era rollout. Alongside the comeback announcement, HYBE also highlighted its ongoing efforts to discover emerging talent through the HYBE India Audition initiative, aimed at nurturing performers for international opportunities.
